#3: I have a bachelors degree in economics from UC-Berkeley

In December 2000, I gradauted from UC-Berkeley with a bachelors degree in economics. So, what does a bachelors degree in economics from Berkeley have to do with why you should hire me. In my opinion no matter what degree you get from Berkeley, you are a highly qualified for any job. Berkeley teaches how to overcome obstacles, work the system, and be as persistent as possible. There are times in college where I was forced to be on the waitlist for a class till the day of the final exam.  So, you have take risks, and nagivate difficult waters. Your learn to be persistent. The ongoing housing shortage makes you growup really fast and you start dealing with real world issues the day you leave the dorms. As far as the economics degree, it's applicable to virtually any job, except maybe being a brain surgeon. It teaches you how to think, and look at the world differently. It teaches you how to analyze problems.  Between all the survival skills from life at Berkeley in general, and the academic skill set, I figured my Berkeley degree is definitely 1 of 100 reasons you should hire me.
